These salt lamps are hand-chiseled from salt crystals formed by nature millions of years ago in the Himalayan Mountains. 

How do they work?  The warmth of the salt interacts with moisture in the atmosphere this exchange releases negative ions.  Negative ions help purify the air of allergens, dust, smoke, bacteria and more.  These lamps are natural air purifiers and are known to help people with various health conditions including migraines, sinus problems, asthma, allergies and other respiratory ailments.  They also help neutralize the EMF (electromagnetic fields) radiating all around us from computers, cell phones, TVs, fluorescent lights, etc.
